Important Website Announcement – 01st February 2012

I will be temporarily closing my practice for a four month sabbatical from 2nd April 2012 - 6th August 2012.

I am unable to offer any new bookings now until August 2012

I will be taking bookings by email only for the period commencing 6th August 2012 onwards from July 1st 2012. Any therapy related emails received prior to this date will not receive a response.

Generally I would have offered a free initial telephone consultation prior to booking but since to do so throughout the sabbatical period would rather defeat the object of taking time out from work I will not during this period be offering any initial consultations. My telephone line will remain live but please do not leave messages or call for a consultation as I will not be responding to any telephone messages during the above period.

It is my sincere hope that the fact that I am not offering consultations during this period will not present you with an obstacle to booking as we approach August. There is plenty of information available on both of my websites www.hypnotherapyforlife.co.uk and www.anxietyspecialist.co.uk which should answer the majority of your questions. I hope that these websites make clear that your booking is with an experienced and competent therapist. The consultation has always been offered for your peace of mind and in practice 19 out of 20 people will book in once they have spoken to me. I would like you to know that if you book in with me for August, I would expect our meeting to be productive, positive, and reassuring. I am a very approachable person, and get along with almost everyone I meet just fine. I hope that in this unusual circumstance you will feel comfortable with simply booking your appointment and meeting in August minus an initial consultation.

I have left my website live for a number of reasons. Firstly, I am not closing my practice permanently; I am simply taking a break. It takes many years to achieve good search engine rankings and if I close the site I will lose my rankings. Secondly, four months is a relatively short period of time and I appreciate that many people explore their options for some time before picking up the telephone to book an appointment. Depending on when you find my services it may be a period of time you are willing to wait. I wanted to leave that option available to people.
